Prepaid card services "STARCARD"
"STARCARD" provides prepaid services for public transport, retail networks and food outlets. Services are offered by the enterprises participating in the "STARCARD" project and are based on a contactless smart card conforming to the MIFARE® 1К standard.
Sale and replenishment of the cards is carried out in a specialized network of outlets. The buyer purchases a card and puts on it an advance payment for future services.
At the moment of “loading” the card, the tariff plans, in terms of standard units, of the participants in the project are written into the card’s memory.
The holder of a "STARCARD" card can take advantage of the services offered by the participants, up to the limit of standard units on the Card. The number of standard units for each service is defined by each participant of the project separately.
